Swatch courtesy of Ermahgerd Perlish (fb). Mentality Prim stamped over Milani Creamy Pistachio. She says, “Reminds me of mint chocolate ice cream!” I have shared Ermahgerd Perlish and her talent for nail art before. I think it is fun to note that Mentality Nail Polish is compatible with other brands for stamping, etc.

Prim is a dark espresso holographic nail polish with a slight metallic finish:

  1. Hi, Rebecca, no stamping is not hard at all, it actually looks rather fun. You can get a starter kit by Nailene at the drugstore (or most likely online). Mentality has a collection of polishes specifically designed for stamping (named, appropriately, the Stampers) and we have found that most of the Mentality line works well. My daughter uses Cheeky plates for designs (available through Amazon). You put the color polish on the plate, then transfer it to a sponge and use the sponge to apply to your nails. I found a how to video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPYic-Y0mPI and I have also learned that you can easily make dots using anything with a small round end. Or crumpled plastic bags can make an etched-like design. When my daughter makes tutorials, I will share them here 🙂 Thanks!
