I spent a summer day at the Dallas Arboretum during a glass sculpture exhibit. This design is based on photographs of the sculptures and beautiful gardens. It is an exercise in shape and texture attempting to capture a moment of quiet rest in the coolness of the shade by the waterfall.
A few years ago, I took a class in 2d media design. I found I enjoyed it so much that I pursued it further and earned Adobe Certified Associate. Now I use Photoshop to be artistic ways that are still new to me in many ways.
This was an exercise in shape and repetition from Nov. 2013. It was inspired in part by a song my granddaughter listened to, to learn her colors, Here Come the Butterflies Again.
